• Embedding autoplay videos on high traffic sites. Youtube dosen't count autoplay embeded views anymore.
• Buying cheap traffic from eBay or traffic selling sites. They are using bots or proxies to drive fake traffic (not real visitors). You get a small portion of the views you pay for and your counting maybe freezed by Youtube when they detect multiple hits from the same IP.
• Reloading the videos yourself. Youtube will count just the first few tens of your reloads.Then the counting will be freezed untill the video gets some real traffic.
• Posting to multiple twitter accounts. Do you feel the same like me that twitter became a spammy place where everybody posts and nobody follows really.
• Social bookmarking, digging, blog postings, forum submissions, etc. These methods may work but it is hard to get even few hundreds hits.
• Posting video responses. You can check videos with millions of views and you will see their responses get just few hundreds or few thousands views.
• Going social on Youtube, getting subscribers that never actually watch your new videos. I have seen channels with 20 thousands subscribers that hardly make 200 views on newly posted videos.
